Great feeder

Works great! I was tired of my cat harassing me at 6am for food so I wanted to purchase an automatic feeder. A few tips:

1. The “portion” setting is great. 1 portion is super small. I set 4 portions for my cats breakfast.
2. At first my cat wasn’t getting it. I wanted her to hear the feeder churn and know that was her breakfast, not me getting up. To get her used to it, I set 1 portion every day at noon. (its just a few pebbles of food) so she would recognize the noise and associate it with meal time. Then, I set the breakfast timer for 5 am. It took a few weeks, but now she’s got the idea!
3. I also love that I can travel for the day and she will be fed. No worries if the power goes out, there is a battery backup!

This feeder is awesome! We got 2 for our cats. They’re easy to program and work well. They are a great size because they do not need to be filled super often. This has been helpful on busy days. We are very happy with our purchase!

NOT just for Cats – DOG Feeder too!

Have had it for about 3 1/2 weeks. It was worked as advertised, hasn’t missed a schedule feeding, battery still at full charge. I do like that the lid twists on because my puppy has over turned it and the food did not come out. I have to put a bunge cord around the feeder and attached it to the puppy gate so she can’t turn it over but she does however remove the the tray, wished this had the ability to lock the tray in place. I’ve had no issues with the dog food size going through the feeder, Beneful dog food.

Fairly easy to get set up. Just have to figure out how much food they need in a day and divide that up over the number of feedings.
Works well. Cats enjoy it. It’s helping to slim down our cats as they were “foodies” that eat just since the food is there. So this helps immensely to portion their food each day.

Good but a little annoying

Works great, only thing is that I wish it could be controlled via phone cause you gotta bend over and do all these annoying steps to set up times.
